Description
This pneumatically controlled 2-way ball valve allows for an increase in automation to your system compared to a manually controlled valve. The ball valve has a 100 mm diameter and is suitable for liquids and gases from -20 to 180°C. The pneumatic actuator is capable of creating 354 Nm of torque at 8 bar, but it has a control pressure window of 6 ? 10 bar. The ball valve has G 4" threads to connect it to the piping/hosing carrying the media and the Kv value is 1230 m3. The actuator is double acting with a reliable aluminium rack-and-pinion rotational operation. The actuator has an anodized aluminum housing and an aluminum cover, while the ball valve has a stainless steel housing and a PTFE seal. The maximum media pressure is 63 bar. The ball valve is a 3-piece design allowing for thorough cleaning. Namur VDI/VDE 3845 connection points are already on the actuator to mount a 1/4" Namur solenoid valve directly onto the actuator or connect an air hose utilizing the G 1/4". Also, a position control or limit switch box can be mounted on the top of the actuator according to VDI/VDE 3845. The actuator is mounted on the ball valve via the ISO 5211 F10 flange (22 mm).
